PlayStation 3 owners can get some new equipment for Battlefield 3 today. DICE has released the Physical Warfare Pack, previously a pre-order exclusive, to all PS3 players for no charge.
"Physical Warfare Pack grants you instant access to the powerful DAO-12 shotgun, if you haven’t unlocked it already. It also features custom flechette ammo for the DAO-12, a flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle, plus the Type 88 Light Machine Gun," says DICE.
PC and Xbox 360 owners will receive the Physical Warfare content soon as well. They'll have to wait until an unspecified later date, though. Sony and EA have an agreement in place for all BF3 DLC to be released a week earlier on the PS3. The fact that DICE hasn't supplied a PC/360 date yet suggests that you'll have to wait longer than a week, though.
